The Community regeneration has developed Chuantsaitou into a leisure and arts center that is an attractive tourist destination, thus breathing new life into the village.
The reclaimed land of Chuantsaitou Dock located by the Putsu River, has been established as the Dock Water park based on the original location of "Furenma Temple and the hundreds year old tree" after compiling various ideas and an overall planning. The plan is mainly based on the local cultural features and relevance, and the main idea is to protect the natural ecology of Putsu River afforesting recreational facilities to provide local people a best recreational spot to be closed to the water.
Currently, the sightseeing dock in the park provides sight-seeing guiding rafts for touring the river, sight-seeing dragon boat padding, distinguishing canoes, bamboo rafts for touring the river, recreational seats, recreational walking paths, and a scenic riverbank. There is also a 20-kilometer long scenic bikeway. When you overlook Putsu River from the continuous dike, you will find the pretty scenery along the river. It is so wide and open to make you feel relaxed and happy. When the breeze gently blows on your face, you will feel so comfortable and cheerful.
No matter in the morning, at afternoon or at night, the public has a variety of activities such as flying kites, walking dogs, taking a walk, riding bikes and skateboard carts, roller skating, Yunji dancing, doing hand clapping, doing Taijiquan, and doing local folk dancing and singing. The various activities of the public are getting downfallen Chuantsaitou more and more flourishing.
